Everyone should aspire to be respected. Respect means being held in high regard and being viewed as a decent and responsible person. Respect can not be bought and it isn’t a right, it is an honor that can only be earned through demonstrated model behavior.

You earn respect by being honest, polite, well-mannered, trustworthy, dependable and competent. You earn respect by giving respect.
